MANY Tears Animal Rescue Centre has been left “overwhelmed” by the response to its Christmas hamper for dogs.
The rescue centre launched its popular Christmas Eve Boxes last week.
Posting on their Facebook page, the Llanelli based dog rescue said: “Back by popular demand, these are packed with a selection of treats, toys and other items which we are sure your dogs are going to love.
“The boxes are carefully packed by Santa's Elves, and each has a To and From section for you to complete. It's such a lovely thing to open and enjoy with your loved dog on Christmas Eve.
“Last year they sold out, so we would recommend placing your order sooner to avoid disappointment.
“Thank you to Pet Head, Lily's Kitchen, Fish4Dogs, ForthGlade and Ancol for very kindly supporting our Christmas Eve Boxes this year.”
The boxes cost £15 including postage and packaging and can be ordered from Many Tears Animal Rescue’s website.
The Christmas treats proved as popular as ever, with hundreds of the packages being sold within 45 minutes of going on sale.
A Many Tears post said they were “overwhelmed by the response”.
Posting an update to their followers, the much-loved rescue centre said: “We are going to pause sales for now while our elves package them up and get them ready for Santa Paws to deliver but hope we can re-launch them again in the next week or two.
“Thank you for your support, every box purchased helps all of the dogs in our care so this response is truly wonderful.”
