CRIMESTOPPERS has launched a new campaign highlighting the danger and harm caused by serious organised crime gangs operating in Cardiff.
They are asking people to speak up anonymously and stay safe if they know about those involved.
Crimestoppers know that speaking up about serious crime and anti-social behaviour can be difficult, but anonymous information could be crucial to helping make communities safer.
People are asked to remain vigilant to signs of vulnerable people being exploited.
Serious organised crime has a major negative impact by using violence, weapons and intimidation.

Human trafficking, child exploitation and money laundering are also part of its destructive activities.
The three-week campaign includes targeted social media to promote Crimestoppers’ service and appealing for information about large-scale criminal gangs in the area.
Crime information can be given anonymously to the charity in up to 140 different languages, 365 days of the year, 24/7, by calling the Crimestoppers UK based Contact Centre on freephone number 0800 555 111.
Alternatively, you could complete a secure anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org or Fearless.org for younger people.
Hayley Fry, Crimestoppers national manager for Wales, said: “Our charity is here for those who – for whatever reason – feel unable to speak directly to police, often because they fear retribution or because those involved are too close to home.
"Many people in the area know exactly who is involved in criminal gangs and exploitation, such as dealing in Class A drugs.
“Everyone has the right to feel safe from crime, wherever they live.
"Help protect your neighbourhood by letting us know about suspicious or unusual activities.
"Your anonymous information can make a difference.
"By speaking up, you could be helping protect vulnerable neighbours and your community from crime. We’re not interested in your identity. Just what you know.
"So, whoever you are, we’re here to listen. When you hang up the phone, or click send online, you’re done. Speak up. Stop crime. Stay safe. 100% Anonymous. Always.
"With your help we can make Cardiff safer for us all.”
