THOMAS Markle has said that his daughter Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is “childish and silly” for refusing to speak to him.
Speaking on ITV’s Good Morning Britain today, Mr Markle said that the Duchess has now “pretty much disowned both sides of her family” and that her relationship with the Duke of Sussex has “changed”.
Asked when the last time he tried to get in touch with his daughter, Mr Markle said it was about a month ago and that if he tried to go to Montecito, where the Sussexes live with their two children, he would be branded a “stalker”.
'My message for the kids is that they have two loving families and their grandmother is the Queen of England.'

He said he would continue to do TV interviews until Meghan agreed to speak to him, and that everything changed “once she hooked up with Harry”.
Mr Markle also said that the children would start to wonder who their family was and that it was time for them to talk.
“It’s time to talk with each other, we’re family. The kids are going to grow up without knowing they have two families.
“This is more than just me and my daughter now – this is me, my daughter, her husband and two babies.
“So it’s time to do something. To talk.”

Meghan and Harry welcomed a baby girl, Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, on June 4 2021, little sister to Archie, who was born on May 6 2019.
Mr Markle said he didn’t want to take legal action to see the children as he didn’t want to use them as “pawns in a game” as “they’re not part of the game.”
He accused Harry of abandoning “the Queen, his grandmother, the royal family, the British people and the Army” and speculated that all Harry did was “ride a bicycle around the neighbourhood”.
“Everything they’re doing is for money,” Markle told Susannah Reid and Richard Madeley on the morning programme.
Meghan released her first children's book The Bench on June 8, which was written for Prince Harry on Father's Day and inspired by their son Archie.
