GWENT Police are appealing for information as they search for a teenage girl from Newport who has gone missing.

Amelia Swansbury, 13, has gone missing from the Allt-Yr-Yn area of Newport.

She was reported missing on Thursday, October 14 and there are concerns about her welfare.

Amelia is around 5ft4 in height, of slim build with long dark hair.

She is believed to be wearing grey leggings with a black band around the back, a grey top, black hoody and black trainers.

Amelia is asked to reach out immediately to let people know if she is safe and well.
