NEWPORT City Council have announced workers will be fixing potholes on several streets next week.
The work begins on Monday, October 25 on Gaskell Street.
As well as fixing potholes, the council will cleanse the gulleys of the roads and will sweep the roads.

The work on each road is expected to last two hours and will begin at around 10.30pm.
The roads that will be fixed:
- Gaskell Street - October 25
- Bedford Road - October 26
- Rothesay Road - October 27
- Llewllyn Street - October 28
- Bishton Street - October 29
People are asked not to park on the roads while the work is taking place.
