AN Ebbw Vale man was threatened with what is believed to be a hand gun last night.
The 65-year-old man was returning to his car outside Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre when he was approached by a man who placed ties over the victim's hands, pushed him into the back seat of his own car and threatened him.
As the offender got into the driver's seat, the victim was able to free himself, run into the Leisure Centre and alert a member of staff who contacted the police.
The offender is described as white; approximately 6 foot tall and in his late 20's. He was wearing a dark hooded top.
He ran off in the direction of Glyncoed with victim's keys.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre between 5.15pm and 6.00pm last night and who may have seen a man acting suspiciously is asked to contact Ebbw Vale CID on 01633 838111 or anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
