A MAN is in a "critical but stable" condition in hospital following a crash in Southend Terrace in Pontlottyn on October 26.
The 52-year-old was in a black Vauxhall Astra with two other people when it was involved in a crash involving two vans just before 7am yesterday, Tuesday.
The other two people in the Astra left the scene while the man, from Rhymney, was taken to hospital.

The Astra was travelling from the Rhymney area towards Bargoed at the time of the crash.
The road was closed in both directions until 3.13pm yesterday.
Gwent Police are appealing for information from anybody who witnessed the crash.
