TOWNS across Caerphilly county borough are receiving new decorations to commemorate those who fought for our country.
Caerphilly County Borough Council has been working with Roman Road Markings to create a number of poppy road markings in locations across the borough to mark Remembrance Day.
The company have subsidised the costs for the installations in town centres – some of which already include in front of the Pontywaun County School memorial garden, Risca Cenotaph and Caerphilly Castle – and there will also be more done across all council-maintained memorials.
