DRIVERS from Newport and Caerphilly have been in court for a range of motoring offences.
Offences included speeding, driving without a valid licence, and driving without insurance.
Here is a round-up of cases heard as far afield as Weymouth, Bolton and Llanelli.

NICHOLAS WILFRED BRYMER, 64, of Gray Hill Road in Newport, was caught doing 96mph on a dual carriageway in a Mercedes.
Brymer was caught by a manned speed camera on the A35 Puddletown bypass in Dorchester on March 23.
He pleaded guilty, and was fined £320 at Weymouth Magistrates' Court on Friday, October 22.
He must also pay £90 in costs and a £34 surcharge, as well as having five points added to his licence.
CHRISTOPHER BUNN, 67, of Twyn Oaks in Caerleon, was clocked driving a Jaguar 21mph over the speed limit in Carmarthenshire.
Bunn was caught by a manned speed camera doing 81mph on the A477 Llanddowror to Red Roses Bypass in a Jaguar Xf S Premium Luxury V6 on April 18.
He pleaded guilty, and was fined £100 at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 18.
Bunn also had to pay £90 in costs and a £34 surcharge, as well as having four points added to his licence.
FLORIN CIRPACI, 36, of Corporation Road in Newport, has been fined for driving a car without a valid licence.
Cirpaci was caught driving a Volkswagen Golf on the A4059 at Aberdare on August 28.
A charge of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence was proven at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 20 using the Single Justice Procedure.
Cirpaci was fined £220, and ordered to pay £90 in costs a £34 surcharge.
He had three points added to his licence.
PAIGE MAIN, 27, of Keble Court in Graig-Y-Rhacca, has been banned from the road after driving without insurance.
Main was stopped on the A48 Cowbridge Bypass on August 12 for driving a Ford Fiesta without third party insurance.
The offence was proved using the Single Justice Procedure at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Thursday, October 21.
She was fined £660, and ordered to pay £90 in costs and a £66 surcharge.
Main was also disqualified from driving for a year, due to repeat offending. She also had six points added to her licence.
GEMMA OSMOND, 34, of Monnow Way in Bettws, has been banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay more than £800 after refusing to identify the driver of a car alleged to have been driven 7mph over the speed limit.
Osmond was questioned by officers on April 26 about an alleged offence relating to a Vauxhall Astra being caught by an automatic speed camera on Greenway Road in Rumney doing 37mph in a 30mph zone.
The offence of failing to give any information relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been involved in an offence was proven using the Single Justice Procedure.
Osmond was fined £660 at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Thursday October 21, and was ordered to pay £90 in costs and a £66 surcharge.
She was also disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending, and had six points put on her licence.
DANIEL JAMES HALL, 22, of Heol Fawr in Nelson, was clocked doing 43mph in a 30mph zone.
Hall was caught by a speed camera on North Road in Cardiff, heading southbound, on April 30.
He pleaded guilty, and was fined £80 at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Thursday, October 21.
Hall was also ordered to pay costs of £90, and a surcharge to fund victim services of £34.
He had four points added to his licence.
VASILE ANGHEL, 42, of Corporation Road in Newport, was clocked doing 41mph on a Cardiff road.
Anghel was caught going 11mph over the speed limit on Newport Road at the junction with Colchester Avenue on December 13 last year.
They pleaded guilty, and were fined £80 at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 20.
Anghel must also pay a £34 surcharge, and had four points added to their licence.
No order was made for costs.
SCOTT WILLIAMS, 35, of Portskewett Street in Newport, was caught speeding in a 50mph zone on the M62 in Greater Manchester.
Williams was caught doing 57mph between junctions 11 and 12 on November 6 last year.
He pleaded guilty, and was fined £66 at Bolton Magistrates' Court on Friday, October 22.
Williams must also pay a £34 surcharge, and had three points added to his licence.
No order was made for costs.
GEMMA LOUISE MATES, 36, of Blacksmith Close in Oakdale, was caught speeding in a Land Rover in Cardiff.
Mates was driving at 36mph in the 30mph zone on Newport Road, across the junction with Rover Way on February 3.
She pleaded guilty, and at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Monday, October 18 was fined £100.
She was also ordered to pay £110 in costs and a £34 surcharge, as well as having three points added to her licence.
REBECCA SKYM, 21, of High Street in Senghenydd, has been fined for speeding in Cardiff.
Skym was driving at 35mph on North Road in Cardiff – a 30mph zone – on March 28.
She pleaded guilty, and at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 19 was fined £100.
She was ordered to pay £90 in costs and a £34 surcharge, as well as having three points added to her licence.
ASHES MUNYARADZI CHIGANZE, 54, of Lily Way in Rogerstone, has been fined for speeding in Cardiff.
Chiganze was caught driving a Suzuki Splash at 35mph on Pentwyn Road – a 30mph zone – on April 22.
They pleaded guilty, and were fined £130 at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 20.
Chiganze also had to pay £90 in costs and a £34 surcharge, as well as having three points added to their licence.
EMMA CLAIRE STOKES, 36, of Sullivan Circle in Newport, was also caught speeding in Cardiff.
Stokes was driving at 35mph past a speed camera on Greenway Road in Rumney – a 30mph zone.
She pleaded guilty, and was fined £66 at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 20.
Stokes must also pay a £34 surcharge, and had three points added to her licence.
No order was made for costs.
