THE Spice Girls have announced the release of a deluxe edition of their first album, Spice.
Announcing it on Twitter, the girl band said: “Release day is here! #Spice25 is out now. A celebration of our debut album ‘Spice’.
“We had such a great time listening to the old demos and putting this together. We hope it brings back some amazing memories for you, just as it did for us”
The band announced Spice 25 in September, teasing fans with clips and images from the album’s original release in 1996.
Along with the new album they have released a new music video for Wannabe in the form of a lyric video to help fans sing along.

They wrote on Twitter: “We never had lyric videos back in 1996, so we wanted to create something special to celebrate 25 years of Wannabe & Spice. We love how it turned out and we hope you do too.”
The album is in celebration of their debut album which was released 25 years ago next week on November 4. The new album brings back classics that we know and love as well as some bonus tracks.
