ONE lane of the M4 motorway is closed near Newport due to flooding.
Heavy rain throughout the night and into the morning has resulted in flooding in lane one of three on the M4.
The affected area is westbound at Junction 28 (Tredegar Park), near the west of Newport.
There is also a lot of standing water on the M4 westbound just after the Prince of Wales Bridge - near where the tolls used to be.
Traffic coping well, but driving conditions remain adverse.
