More than one in 100 people have tested positive for Coronavirus in 17 areas of Gwent over the last week.
The Covid case rates in those areas are among the worst in Wales over the seven-day period.
Caerleon is the worst impacted area in Gwent, with a Covid case rate of 1,388.0 cases per 100,000 people after recording 108 new cases between October 19 and October 25.
It is one of two areas in Newport with a case rate above 1,000, the other being Malpas.
There are eight areas of Caerphilly above that threshold according to the latest MSOA (middle layer super output areas) data released by Public Health Wales.
While there are four in Torfaen, two in Blaenau Gwent and one in Monmouthshire.
