A NEWPORT woman has been landed with a fine of more than £200 for leaving too much rubbish at the kerbside on collection day.
Kerry Arthur, of Commercial Road, Newport, was fined £220 on Thursday, October 28, at Newport Magistrates Court.
Ms Arthur, the court heard, had failed, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement imposed by a waste collection authority in Wales, namely Newport City Council.
She had continued to present excess waste for collection and failed to present her waste according to council requirements.
