THESE seven drug drivers were recently banned at Newport Magistrates’ Court after being caught by Gwent Police.

MICHAEL MORGAN, 26, of Gibbs Close, Blackwood, was banned from driving for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to drug driving with a cannabis derivative in his blood on Montclaire Avenue on May 25.

He was ordered to pay £598 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

FFION NICOLE REES, 22, of Cefn Llwynau Street, Penybryn, Caerphilly, was banned from driving for 12 months after she admitted drug driving with a cannabis derivative in her blood on Navigation Street and possession of cannabis on April 13.

She was ordered to pay £399 in fines, costs and a surcharge.

BENJAMIN PHILLIPS, aged 29, of Benjamin Court, Rhymney, Caerphilly, was banned from driving for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to drug driving with a cannabis derivative in his blood on the A469 in Pontlottyn on April 18.

He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

DOWIE TITFORD, 22, of Cwrt Coch Street, Aberbargoed, Caerphilly, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug driving with a cocaine derivative in his blood on Gordon Road, Blackwood, on May 2.

He was ordered to pay £319 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

CAIRAN SCREEN, 28, of Marlborough Road, Six Bells, Abertillery, was banned from driving for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to drug driving with a cannabis derivative in his blood at Lakeside Retail Park, Brynmawr, on May 10.

He was ordered to pay £199 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

GAGE MOTT-DRAISEY, 29, of Dell View, Chepstow, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug driving with a cannabis derivative in his blood on Heidenheim Drive, Newport.

He was ordered to pay £199 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

TAZ GILLESPIA, 41, of Halstead Street, Newport, was banned from driving for 12 months after he admitted drug driving with a cocaine derivative in his blood on Lower Dock Street on May 6.

He was ordered to pay £470 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
