AN ONLINE business now has its own shop, based in Newport city centre.
Lyssium Aromatics – which specialises in fragrance oils, carpet fresheners, and diffusers – was set-up virtually during lockdown, originally just selling fragrance oil but expanding over time.
The products are manufactured by hand – along with the packaging – at the businesses’ Caldicot warehouse.
A spokesman for the business said: “By selling our products in the shop we can get a better view of public reaction to our products than selling online.
“It also gives us brand awareness in the local area – the reaction to the new shop has been very encouraging.
“We already have a strong online present, with more than 4,000 Facebook followers and more than 7,000 e-mail subscribers to our website.”
