THESE nine drink drivers were recently banned at Newport Magistrates’ Court after being caught by Gwent Police.
OLIVER JAMES TURNBULL, 40, of King Road, Coed Morgan, Llanover, near Abergavenny, was banned from driving for three years after he admitted drink driving with 99 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at the Hardwick Roundabout on October 8.
He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and pay £180 in costs and a surcharge.

DIANE PLATT, 48, of Lewis Street, Sofrydd, Abertillery, was banned from driving for two years after she admitted drink driving with 94 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at Lewis Street on October 8.
She was ordered to complete a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement and pay £380 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

ELLISIA CARTWRIGHT, 22, of Bedwellty Road, Aberbargoed, Caerphilly, was banned from driving for 16 months after she pleaded guilty to drink driving on Waun Borfa Road, Pengam, near Blackwood, with 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on October 10.
She was ordered to pay £394 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
IAN PAUL JONES, 52, of Oldbridge Court, Thornhill, Cwmbran, was banned from driving for 15 months after he admitted drink driving on Ty Gwyn Road with 61 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on October 10.
He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

ADRIAN PRITCHARD, 57, of Clos Y Felin, Ystrad Mynach, was banned from driving for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving with 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on Caerphilly Road on October 8.
He was ordered to pay £745 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
CHEZ MORRIS, 42, of Francis Street, Fleur-de-Lys, near Blackwood, was banned from driving for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving with 45 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on the A472 in Caerphilly on October 9.
He was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
EMMA ROGERS, 33, of Pontypool, was banned from driving for 18 months after she admitted drink driving with 74 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on Main Road, Maesycwmmer, on October 10.

VIOLET PEACH MASON, 22, of Lugg Bridge Road, Hereford, was banned from driving for 12 months after she admitted drink driving with 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on Jubilee Way, Caldicot, on October 9.
She was ordered to pay £239 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
COLIN GEORGE BALL, 41, of Bryn-Nant, Crickhowell, was banned from driving for 26 months after he pleaded guilty to drink driving on the A4042 in Abergavenny with 110 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on October 10.
He was ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work and pay £180 in costs and a surcharge.
