THERE have been more than 400 new coronavirus cases in Gwent according to the latest figures from Public Health Wales.
The area has reported 70.5 cases per 100,000 people.
Newport had recorded the most cases in Gwent, with 110.
Caerphilly recorded 100 new cases, Torfaen 72, Blaenau Gwent 61 and Monmouthshire 59.
In total, Gwent has now recorded 89,043 cases of coronavirus
Wales has recorded 2,171 new cases in the latest update including residents outside of Wales.

There have been 18 more deaths recorded in Wales according to Public Health Wales figures, putting the toll at 6,260.
There have been no more deaths in Gwent, so the total number who have died in the area because of covid stands at 1,076.
All figures are for the 24 hours leading up to 9am on November 9.
