THE man who died following a crash in Barry last week has been named.
David Searle, 74 and from Barry, died following a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, November 9.
The incident occurred on Cardiff Road, Barry.
Family have paid tribute to Mr Searle, who was known to all as Dai, saying: “He passed away very unexpectedly. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend.
“He had a great sense of humour and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.”
Mr Searle's wife Yvonne said: “He was loved very much and I will miss him until the day we meet again.”
Officers investigating the collision are appealing to any witness who has yet to come forward or anyone who has any dash-cam footage of the collision to contact South Wales Police, quoting reference 2100393475.
