A BRAVE pensioner told how he managed to escape an armed car-jacking attempt after he was tied up and bundled into the back of his BMW.
Shaken Bryn Price, 65, who lives in sheltered flats in Dukestown, Tredegar, says he had a lucky escape after the gunpoint incident outside Ebbw Vale leisure centre on Monday night.
The retired design draughtsman said "I turned round and there was this guy with a gun in his hand, pointing it at me."
Mr Price added, the gun was black, with a rectangular barrel, and added: "I don't know much about guns, but it looked real to me."
