PUBLIC Health Wales have reported 1,921 new cases of coronavirus, and two Covid-related deaths since their statistics were last updated.
The new cases reported in the most recent statistics from Public Health Wales include 379 cases in Gwent:
Caerphilly - 121
Newport - 107
Monmouthshire - 69
Torfaen - 45
Blaenau Gwent - 37
Public Health Wales’ death toll – throughout the entire Covid pandemic – now stands at 6,297, which includes 1,078 in the Aneurin Bevan University.
This means there have not been any newly reported deaths in Gwent.
Public Health Wales' culmulative confirmed Covid case total, throughout the entire pandemic, is now at 477,295.
