What the punters say: "In town on business so called in for a quick bite between meetings i ordered miners benedict and a bacon roll with extra bacon for the wife plus endless coffees for £8 you just cannot fault it. And the food quality was really good."

What the punters say: "Popped in for a quick lunch with my wife today, we had three small meal sharers, half rib and onion rings, spicy prawns and chicken wings. All three meals were served quickly and were excellent."

"The Pontlottyn is in a brilliant location in the centre of Abertillery and is easily accessed. It's a two-minute walk from the nearest bus station making it a favourite in many people’s books. The food is good for the price that you pay but can have its off days. The main reason I and many others attend this establishment is for a afternoon pint and catch up with friends or a Saturday night out."

"Lovely venue to take children for a meal, friendly bar staff, waitress couldn't have been more helpful and cheerful. Food was good and came quickly, we both had steak and jacket potato, kids had pizza, and it's so reasonable, even had a drink included with the steak. We visit regularly and will continue to do so."
