Monmouthshire District Scouts have planned a packed year of activities throughout many parts of the county.
The programme of events starts with a Cub Scout quiz at Gilwern, on Sunday February 10, from 2pm to 4.30pm.
A district scouts swimming gala is planned for Newport on St David's Day, from 3pm-5pm, while on the weekend of March 7-9 there is a patrol leader training weekend at the Botany Bay camp site.
A second swimming gala will be held at Newport on March 15, with a St George's Day parade in Chepstow on Sunday. April 20, a scout challenge at Botany Bay on May 11 and a district scout camp on May 24-31.
The Brian Holbrough challenge camp is due to be held from June 13-15, again at Botany Bay, with a cubs' all-Wales fun day at Builth Wells on June 14.
Scouts and Explorers have an adventure programme from August 9-16, while scout leaders are planning a trip to Split, in Croatia, for adults from September 20-27.
A Gwentrek on October 7 is to be confirmed by officials, but the ever-popular scouts' and explorer scouts' cooking competition on November 2 has been agreed.
