A SHOW about a Blaenau Gwent town will be aired on BBC One on Monday.
The Golden Cobra is an animated adult comedy centred around Ebbw Vale.
It is the brainchild of Adam Llewellyn from Ebbw Vale and his housemate James Prygodzicz, originally from Aberdare.
Mr Llewellyn said: “I created a series on YouTube called The Vale which was set in Ebbw Vale and people loved it.
“Someone from the BBC got in touch with me at the beginning of lockdown and said that they saw and liked The Vale and asked if I’d do something for them. I said yes and they asked if I had any ideas and I said I’d like to keep it in Ebbw Vale.
"It's along the lines of South Park and there is some bad language in it as it is an adult comedy after the watershed.
“I’ve sent them the final footage for the show, and I can’t believe some of the stuff we’ve got away with.”
The show which airs on BBC One on Monday, November 22 at 11.05pm is centred around a fictional takeaway and its new delivery driver Nick and he hopes locals will enjoy the references to places in Ebbw Vale and the surrounding areas.
“It is a good story and something people can laugh at and enjoy.”

Mr Llewellyn studied at Newport Film School and did some work on music videos. He went full time working as a teacher at Ebbw Vale College and began The Vale during this time.
“I got bored during the Easter holidays and started to draw and me and a couple of friends started doing the voices for the characters and The Vale was born,” he said.
The Vale has three seasons but had been put on hold for the past 18 months as Mr Llewellyn was working on The Golden Cobra for the BBC.
“I do all the animation myself, so it does take time," he said. "I’ve had a lot of messages asking when The Vale is coming back so I have been working on that recently.”
Mr Llewellyn now works as a freelance animator and has done work for S4C. “I never intended to be an animator,” he said, reflecting on his career so far.
The Golden Cobra will be aired on BBC One on Monday, November 22 at 11.05pm. It will also be available on BBC iPlayer.
