Six areas of Gwent have some of the highest Covid rates in the country.
MSOA (middle layer super output areas) data released by Public Health Wales revealed that parts of Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen had some of the highest rates in Wales.
Between November 11 and November 17, the top ten per cent of Covid rates in Wales were above 783.1 cases per 100,000 people.
Six areas of Gwent fall into that category.
That includes Rhaglan & Llantillo Crossenny, in Monmouthshire, which recorded 75 new cases in that seven-day period, giving it a rate of 1,025.3 cases per 100,000 people.
The other areas of Gwent that fell into the top ten per cent in the country were Machen and Newbridge, in Caerphilly, Hollybush & Henllys and New Inn, in Torfaen, and Lawrence Hill in Newport.
