A NEWPORT woman will swap selling wedding dresses to donning one herself in the Dolman Theatre's latest.
Dominque Flook, 20, by day works in bridal wear shop All About Eve in Clytha Park Road, but from January 21 she'll be appearing in Some of My Best Friends are Husbands with the Newport Playgoers.
The artist and actress from Llanmartin will play Emma, a young innocent girl who reluctantly marries a womanising philanderer.
She soons discovers Celimare to be having affairs with the wives of his best friends.
Ms Flook said: "It's a very funny play, full of ooh-la-la and double entendres."
Despite the bridal link, Ms Flook's similarities with Emma end there.
"She's not much like me as a person, she's very innocent and keeps asking her mother to explain things for her," she added.
Ms Flook is no stranger to the stage, and appeared last year in the Playgoers' production of the Owl and the Pussycat.
The play runs from January 21-26. For tickets call 01633 263670 or visit www.dolmantheatre.co.uk.
