Natasha Hogan said she was shocked at the adjournment of today's hearing and asked for her family to be left alone until the trial finishes.
In a statement read out on her behalf, she said: "It has come as somewhat of a shock that the court has come to this point they cannot reach a verdict.'' She said the family would find it difficult over the next few days. The statement added: "Please give us some space and give us some time.''
