STAFF at the Metropole Cultural and Conference Centre in Abertillery are inviting locals to come and join in their birthday celebrations.
On Thursday January 24, it will have been one year since the centre reopened after it's major revamp and the Met have planned an action packed day to celebrate.
On Thursday 24th January 2008 the Metropole Cultural and Conference Centre, Abertillery will have been open for one year. To celebrate this occasion the Met have planned an action packed day.
There are several activities planned for the day , including traditional Punch and Judy shows, magic tricks, games and art and craft activities.
Musicians will entertain and play some quite unusual instruments such as the Hurdy Gurdy.
The cafe/bar will be open for teas and coffees.
All activities will take place between 10am and 3pm and are suitable for children over the age of five years old.
Entry today is free of charge, but booking is essential for activities.
