FIGURES released this month show employment figures in Wales were up on the same period for the previous year.
For the three months up to November, employment was up 8,000 compared to 2006, according to statistics published by the Office of National Statistics Labour Force survey.
It shows an increase of 0.6 per cent year on year and the employment rate in Wales was 72.1 per cent, up 0.3 per cent on the previous quarter.
