EBBW Vale ended their 10-game losing streak with a Premiership win over Llanelli at Eugene Cross Park on Friday night.
The Steelmen triumphed 22-12 on home soil, a first win since September and a first success since the return of head coach Jason Strange.
Ebbw started well to go into a 10-0 lead with all the points coming from fly-half Rhys Jones.
They went 17-0 up after 24 minutes when flanker Alex Grey crossed but the west Walians got a lifeline on the stroke of half-time through Lewis Morgan.
However, the Steelmen regained their buffer after 48 minutes when wing Dafydd Howells went over.
Llanelli had the final say when Joseph Hutchings crossed, with Iwan Evans' conversion making it 22-12, but Ebbw were not to be denied.
