CHEPSTOW mums can find out how to try out yoga with their kids at a new class.
Liz Cardash of the Equrilibrium Holisitic Centre, St. Mary's Street, is running classes for mums who want to find new ways of soothing their babies.
Techniques include introducing your baby to the lotus position, gentle throws and forms of carrying which can help improve posture.
Ms Cardash, who practices massage professionally, said: "It's beneficial as it encourages flexibility and strength in the baby.
"I've introduced it to my own child since she was born 16 months ago.
"It can also be good for husbands as its something that them and the baby can do together.
"All the movements are inspired by yoga."
Michelle Coleman, 31, of Chepstow attended her first class with son, Oscar yesterday.
She said: "I'm brand new to this and I think its great. I'm hoping to teach all this to his father!"
Classes take place on Wednesdays. For more information contact Ms Cardash on 01291 622107.
