GOING WILD IN WINTER: The bio diversity of Blaenau Gwent photographic competition 2008 is entitled Winter Wildlife and Habitats, and is open to the public.
Organised by Blaenau Gwent Biodiversity Partnership, with support from Blaenau Gwent county borough council and the Countryside Council for Wales, to celebrate our amazing wildlife resource.
The competition has been running successfully for over five years and Blaenau Gwent is the only council in the whole of Wales that helps organise such a competition.
The winning photograph will be featured on the official Christmas Greeting from the Chief Executive of Blaenau Gwent county borough council.
The closing date is Friday, October 17, 2008, but entries can be sent in anytime before this date.
It is suggested that your own back garden is a great place to photograph wildlife.
