CEROC dancers dazzled and entertained Newport, as they showed off their moves to shoppers at the weekend.
The new craze, which organiser Lindsey Chivers describes as a mixture of jive and salsa without the difficult footwork, is heading to Escapade club this February.
She said: "Its a way of taking part in a good lead follow dance without complicating matters."
Beginners should not be put off, she says, as much of the technique has been designed from people starting from scratch.
Ceroc was originally developed in 1980 by James Cronin to incorporate dance lessons with nights out.
It's now found in ten countries across the world, including Ireland and Australia.
Classes include separate beginners and intermediate sessions - and confident dancers can then go on to enjoy freestyle dancing.
- To take part visit Escapade on February 8 at 7.15pm, or for more information call 07976198106.
