AN ASSEMBLY minister will visit a groundbreaking zero waste village scheme in Monmouthshire next month.
The project was launched in St Arvans, near Chepstow, seven months ago in a bid to eliminate the creation and disposal of waste.
On February 8, Jane Davidson, minister for the environment, sustainability and housing will visit the village to view the scheme in action.
A spokeswoman for Monmouthshire council said 95 percent of villagers had come on board since it was launched in June 2007.
