THE CHANCE to have top chef Dudley Newbery cook at your home is among a host of mouthwatering prizes in a new libraries promotion.
Monmouthshire council wants to increase membership numbers after research showed that just 25 percent of people in Wales belong to their local library.
There will be a series of competitions, with other prizes including the chance to meet BBC Wales personality Iolo Williams, and even a romantic weekend in a teepee in the Welsh mountains.
Councillor Liz Hacket-Pain said: "We hope this promotion will give existing library users the incentive they need to spread the word to friends and family."
The promotion is being run in conjunction with libraries across Wales until February 1.
Further details are on display in Monmouthshire's libraries. For more information call 01633 644644.
