A GWENT teenager was killed after a collision with a car as he crossed a road in Wiltshire this week.
Christopher James Hughes, 16, from Abergavenny, was hit by a car on the A350 near Lacock, Chippenham, at around 7.20pm on Monday.
The youth was crossing the road when he was struck by the car, which police say was overtaking a cream coloured Reliant Robin.
The teenager, who was a student studying for a National Diploma in Agriculture at the nearby Wiltshire College Lackham, was pronounced dead at the scene and police closed the road for several hours following the collision.
