A MARRIED couple from Chepstow were involved in an affray outside their home, Cardiff crown court heard.
One of them had a rounders bat.
Brian Hurley, 51, and his wife Lisa Hurley, 39, of Pembroke Road, Chepstow, have each admitted a charge of affray in the Channel View area of Bulwark on August 26.
A teenage boy, who cannot be identified, admitted a similar charge.
Brian Hurley pleaded guilty to possessing an offensive weapon, a rounders bat, and the teenager admitted having a metal pole.
Lisa Hurley denied having a metal pole and her plea was accepted.
Brian Hurley, the court heard, had convictions for assaulting the police and a public order offence.
The case was adjourned for reports for two weeks and they were bailed.
