TOP comedian Phil Nichol is coming to south Wales later this month as part of a new full UK tour The If.comeddies 2006 winner performs at Cardiff's Sherman Theatre with his stand up show Hiro Worship.

It is a story about idols and hero worship, demonstrated by Nichol's Japanese friend Hiro who worships the Rolling Stones.

The story is about loving your friends and not becoming obsessed with idols and even stalking them.

Last year his first extensive tour of the UK with the show The Naked Racist included an 11-date run at London's Soho Theatre to sell-out audiences and critical acclaim.

The Sunday Times proclaimed Nichol's performance as having, "frenetic insanity and curious beauty".

He is at the Sherman Theatre on Wednesday, February 20, with tickets available on 029 2064 6900.
