COMEDY trio Pluck have won four international awards, performed at four Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.
They were the "undeniable hit" of the Adelaide Fringe 2004, stunned an audience of 8,000 in a football stadium, played the Glastonbury Festival in white tie, tails, and Wellington boots, tangoed with patients in hospitals, entertained children in schools, and interviewed the President of Slovenia in a boxing ring...(phew!) Well now they can add a visit to Newport's The Riverfront on their idiosyncratic CV.
The Specialists is Pluck's new show in which highly strung violinist Yarlsberg has designs on the perfect concert and ever enthusiastic Mr Abanathie aims to please with a variety of instruments.
Meanwhile, budget celebrity Kadifachi's surprisingly passionate relationship with her cello threatens to hijack the entire performance Pluck combine humour with musicianship in their performance which consistently get good reviews.
Pluck play at The Riverfront on Saturday, February 16, at 7.45pm.
Tickets cost between £9.50 and £12 and are available from the box office on 01633 656757.
