A CALDICOT woman has been made the subject of an interim hospital order for three months after attacking her psychiatrist.
Samantha Griffin, of Churchmead Road, Caldicot, admitted causing actual bodily harm to Agi Tyson at Cardiff Crown court.
Ms Tyson suffered cuts to her face in the incident.
Stephen Thomas defending said two psychiatric reports had been prepared and both recommended an order under the Mental Health Act be made.
Mr Thomas said Griffin, 33, was suffering from a psychopathic disorder which had previously been diagnosed.
A bed is available for her at Llanarth Court Hospital, Raglan.
An order was made for 12 weeks when she will be returned to court and finally sentenced.
She was remanded in secure accommodation at the hospital.
