- Results have come in in all five areas of Gwent - Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, and Torfaen.
- Labour has retained control of Newport, Torfaen and Caerphilly councils, and has taken back control in Blaenau Gwent.
- The Tories have lost control in Monmouthshire, with Labour just short of a majority.
- Big shocks include the Tories losing a seat in Allt-yr-yn, and Caerphilly Council leader Philippa Marsden being voted out by a landslide.
- The Conservatives have also been completely wiped out in Torfaen.
- Counting continues in the Vale of Glamorgan.
