THE APPEAL case of a pub landlord convicted of racial abuse was adjourned until February 26.
Gareth Morgan, 38, of the New Court Hotel in Maryport Street, Usk, appeared at Cardiff crown court today.
He is appealing against his conviction at Abertillery magistrates court on November 22, 2007, for using racially abusive language against Fatou Whatley, 23, from Abersychan.
Morgan was previously fined £500 and ordered to pay £150 prosecution costs.
He had denied a charge which had followed an incident last February.
