A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Newport Magistrates’ Court and Cwmbran Magistrates’ Court.

KANE BRADBURY, 23, of Woodland Road, Newport, was ordered to pay £179 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after he pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on Cambrian Road on June 4.

DENNIS JOHN SENIOR, 39, of Trevithick Close, Malpas, Newport, was jailed for 16 weeks after he pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching a restraining order.

He was ordered to pay £328 in costs and a surcharge.

HOLLY DUCIE, 19, of Pen Y Cae, Ystrad Mynach, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance on St Davids Road, Cwmbran, on February 21.

Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

EDWARD GEORGE LEWIS, 72, of Alexandra Road, Six Bells, Abertillery, was ordered to pay £299 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without due care and attention at Tesco on November 2, 2021.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

DEANNE MARIE SANSOME, 42, of Newport, was ordered to pay £120 in a fine and costs for failing to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison.

CHRISTOPHER NEIL HASTINGS, 34, of Priory Street, Risca, was banned from driving for 15 months after he admitted drink driving with 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath on June 26 and failing to surrender on July 11.

PAUL RICHARDS, 62, of Victoria Street, Abergavenny, was ordered to pay £344 in costs and a surcharge for driving whilst not wearing an adult belt on the B4269 in Llanfoist on February 9.
