THIEVES stole £1,450 of lead and scaffolding from an Abercarn builder.
Scaffolding and lead was taken from the builder in High Meadow, Abercarn sometime over last weekend.
Copper piping was also taken from another builder in the area during the same period.
Any witnesses or people with information should contact PC Sam Wassall at Risca police station on 01633 838111.
