ST JULIAN'S COMMUNITY HEALTHY LIVING CENTRE: The long campaign to secure sports and community facilities at the rear of St Julian's School for the benefit of the general community, including the secondary and feeder primary schools, is coming to a climax.
The centre will promote healthy living and recreation for the whole community, from pre-school toddlers to pensioners.
Having successfully progressed through several stages of the lottery application, the £1m final bid is due in June. Meanwhile, the proposal will be considered by the city planning committee next Wednesday. while the lease document will be presented to the cabinet soon.
Local residents and other interested parties are cordially invited to visit the school to view the plans and pose questions.
The exhibition will be in the school library on Tuesday, April 22, from 4.30 pm to 7pm. Light refreshments will be served.
Neighbouring residents and potential users of the facilities will be warmly welcomed.
