WINNING WAYS: The annual championship teams was held over two Fridays recently. The winners were Adrian Thomas, Gordon Roxburgh, Philip Felman, Graham Jones and Paul Cunningham.
Runners-up were Anne Evans, Pearl Nash, John Walker and Kate Walker.
The East Wales Mixed Pairs was held over two sessions on a Sunday recently. Winners were Brian Harden and Betty Gardner. Last year Brian won the event with Vera McAndrew.
Runners up were Gwynn Davies and Sue Ingham.
Last Wednesday the Academy ran the club heat of the BGB pairs. Winners were Adrian Thomas and Gordon Roxburgh.
Runners up were Syd Phillipps and Bob Squire, with Brian Harden and Betty Gardner third.
