POLICE are warning local businesses and the public to be on the look out for counterfeit £20 notes, which have been circulating in the Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly County Borough areas recently.
The notes are of a high quality, so it is essential that you check the money you are given, either by a customer or by a business.
You should check the texture of the note, along with the watermark.
If you have any information about counterfeit currency, then please contact Gwent Police on 01633 838 111 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Counterfeit pens are available to buy, but are not available from Gwent police stations.
