TWO people are in a serious condition after two separate crashes overnight.
One was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, after a Fiat Bravo was involved in a collision in Thornhill Road, near the junction with Hafren Road, Cwmbran, at about 12.45am.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said they released three people from the vehicle.
A 23-year-old man was also taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital after a Ford Mondeo was involved in a collison in Christchurch Road, Newport.
Gwent Police are appealing for witnesses to either incident to contact the collison investigation unit on 01633 643091 or 01633 838111.
