A HUGE fundraising day this week will raise vital funds for Ty Hafan Children's Hospice.
It costs £2.5 million each year to run the hospice which cares for childen from across Wales, including Gwent.
Groups and individuals are being encouraged by sports presenter Jason Mohammad to take part in the special day on Friday.
They are asked to do anything they enjoy, from salsa dancing to rugby, to raise money to help the hospice provide free respite and palliative care services to 174 children.
Chief executive Ray Hurcombe said: "Each year we are truly touched by the efforts of our supporters and never fail to be amazed by the lengths people will go to help fundraise for Ty Hafan."
Fundraising activities can take place in community groups, schools and workplaces on or around 25th April.
Upon registering, fundraisers will receive a list of suggested activities and will be provided with posters and balloons to help promote their event.
