Chepstow Rotary Club raised £2,500 for the Wales Air Ambulance at a charity auction held in December 2007.
The Rotary Club would like to thank their sponsors for all the donations, raffle prizes and items for auction that helped to raise this wonderful sum. Thanks are also due to the Mathern Village Hall Committee for allowing the club to use the Hall free of charge for the event and to all those who helped on the night.
The cheque will be presented at the club's Ladies' Evening which will be held at the Chepstow Hotel on Tuesday April 22.
Anyone who would like to attend the event is invited to contact either Frank Sainsbury on 01291 622313 or Eddie Jones on 01291 629870 or 07733 228276 for further information.
Wales Air Ambulance is not the only charity that has benefited from Chepstow Rotary Club's fund-raising activities in the past year. They have also supported Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and several other national and local charities.
