Two men were today charged with the 1987 murder of a private investigator, Metropolitan Police said.
Daniel Morgan, 37, was found with an axe embedded in his head outside a south east London pub in 1987.
James Cook, 53, a builder from Tadworth, Surrey, and Garry Vian, 47, who is unemployed and of no fixed address were charged with murder.
Sidney Fillery, 61, an ex-Detective Sergeant with the Metropolitan Police, has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
